Healing the Self

by Michelle Piper

Many ask how to increase self esteem and confidence after realizing they’re an adult child of a narcissistic parent, ACON. Here’s a link to a post by a successful businessman who shares a vulnerable part of his own journey and shows the brave, human search to heal.

I would like to know if there are any support groups locally in Phoenix AZ for daughters of NPD mothers? I would be very interested in knowing if you have any local resource information for that specific area. Please do e-mail me if you are able to help. Thanks. Becky.

I’m a daughter of a narcissistic mother. I also live in Phoenix…Peoria. There’s enough of us to start our own support group. We could try something ourselves but if we want a therapist facilitator, would could find someone. text or call 480 532 4403 that’s my cell

I just found out in the last two weeks that my mother is a narcissist (explaining quite a bit of my whole life and current “me”). I really need to start the healing process and would greatly appreciate any self-help book suggestions that also includes the pressure point exercises. Please email me with your suggestions or if you know of any therapy groups in Denver Colorado. Confidence and self-worth have always been my downsize and I’m tired of living this way. Thank you so much!
